About us

Established in 2014 by Lindsey Cran, Cranberry Events offers a full service events package with UK and global expertise.

 

Since setting up Cranberry Events, Lindsey has provided the event management for the Royal Television Society (RTS) Programme Awards 2015-2023 (converting the March 2020 ceremony within 10 days from its usual live event format to a live-streamed, online-only event); the RTS Cambridge Convention 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021, and RTS London Convention 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022.  She has been the project manager for the Institute of Conservation’s ICON Awards 2015; provided editorial support to Broadcast magazine’s Commissioning Forum 2015; worked with the Mayor of London-backed Indielab accelerator programme 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 on speaker management; was the event manager for the inaugural Creative Cities Convention in 2018; provided event management support for the Creative Diversity Network UK Broadcasting Diversity Awards 2019 and Diamond at 5 celebration in 2022; and in 2020 worked on speaker management for the ScreenSkills virtual masterclasses during the Covid-19 crisis.

In 2016 Lindsey provided the event management support for Chelsea FC’s Player of the Year Awards before being sought out a year later to manage the first UK conference for the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), an international organisation supporting the visitor attraction industry. Following the success of this event, Lindsey was retained by TEA to oversee its Europe and Asia conferences, which to date have taken place in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Europa-Park (Germany), National Motor Museum, Beaulieu (United Kingdom), Parc Asterix (France), PortAventura (Spain) and Liseberg (Sweden). In 2022 Lindsey provided operations management support for the Proximo Europe 2022: Infrastructure and Renewables Finance confernce in Lisbon.

As well as corporate events and conferences, she has also organised a number of private events, including a Bar Mitzvah and a 70th birthday party complete with the 45-piece London Gypsy Orchestra.

Lindsey has over 25 years’ experience in event management. She began her career at the English Tourist Board, delivering the England for Excellence Awards and major industry exhibition the British Travel Trade Fair. In 2003 she joined the Royal Television Society (RTS), Britain’s leading forum for television and related media, and during her 11 year tenure as senior events manager oversaw a broad range of prestigious events and conferences. These include five Television Sports Awards ceremonies; 12 Programme Awards ceremonies for 800+ guests, as well as the associated judging processes; six biennial RTS Cambridge Conventions; London Conferences, International Conferences and the Digital World Conference; the Student Television Awards; Craft & Design Awards; Technical Innovation Awards; lectures; seminars; masterclasses; networking dinners; launch events, Christmas and summer parties; and a Royal visit with RTS Patron HRH the Prince of Wales.
